(see requirements below the descriptions)

Understanding Self for Better Connection and Performance. Learn how to connect well with others, hold deep conversations, and lead more effectively. Experience life-changing results in your career and personal life by learning powerful tools for how to hold deeper conversations, bolster social interactions, lead people, establish boundaries, address conflict, and feel more confidence. Participants will also learn character structure components behind each skill and experience deep, meaningful growth. This workshop series is presented in a 70-minute format once a week for 8 weeks.

Communicate to Connect, Grow, and Lead. Skip those cheesy HR workshops on "active listening" (whatever that even means). Learn how to connect with people on a deeper level, become better skilled in crucial life situations, and lead more effectively in your career and personal life. You'll experience dramatic results with increased performance and a feeling of greater confidence in all areas of your life.

Parents: How to connect with your kids and teens on a super deep level. Your 15-year-old daughter comes home and is upset. You ask her questions. You give her advice. You think you're helping. She's now even more upset, and her frustration is now directed at you. You have no idea why. This workshop will show you how to connect on a deeper level with your children. If you don't, your kids will find someone who will. Attendees who have taken this workshop have reported a profound change in how they are able to relate to people and help them, while still maintaining good boundaries and control of their life.

Executive learning program. You're good with the hard skills of operations, finance, and KPIs. Now watch the performance of yourself as a manager and your department increase even further by mastering crucial soft skills that have been proven to increase performance, benefit the bottom line, reduce burnout and attrition, and make working with colleagues a joy again. Seven sessions of 70 minutes, preferably one week apart.

Advanced management practices. Whether you work in healthcare, finance, or manufacturing, the hard skills of the profession usually aren't the problem. The key challenge is often the soft skills—the really hard skills. Learn how to hold meaningful conversations, address conflict, lead employees, and manage in a way that makes employees glad to have you as a manager.

Increase employee retention. Employees stay in their role because they are treated well by their supervisor and colleagues every day, not because of organization-wide retention gimmicks. This workshop involves up to 12 of your managers meeting for one hour a week for 6 weeks. Participants will learn how to better relate to employees and become the manager everyone wants. Customized follow-up with each participant is included. Participants will demonstrate increased performance and a significantly reduced turnover compared to a control group of managers when measured after 6 and 12 months, which will have huge implications for your organization's finances.

Reduce burnout. Learn how to identify and eliminate behaviors that limit healthy boundaries and decision-making capabilities. Gain increased energy by knowing you're more in control of situations and your responses. Great for managers or employee teams.

How to hold deeper conversations. Go beyond surface-level talk to be heard and understood—and to really hear and understand others. You'll learn a method of conversing that you can use in appropriate situations to strengthen bonds with other people and make conversations more meaningful.

Why and how to address conflict. This is the most daunting challenge for so many leaders. Gain tools for how to do this effectively with greater skill to maintain healthier relationships in work and in life—as well as achieve better performance.

New manager boot camp. For new and recently new managers, learn proven methods for how to successfully manage your team and each employee individually. You'll also learn how to avoid common mistakes many new managers make. You are now a key authority figure in someone's life, so make sure you are leading well and helping people flourish.

Bearing fruit. Our life is like a tree, and we bear fruit. This faith-based workshop series shows how to bear better fruit by focusing on the soil and developing strong roots. Once those are well-grown, the fruit will take care of itself. Participants will learn a character and competency model that is based on both the Bible and neuroscience research that strengthens performance in all areas of their life.

For all workshops

Number of sessions. A workshop series is 7 or 8 sessions based on a group's needs.

Time and day. Each session is 70 minutes and is held once a week. For a church, Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. is optimal. A start time of 6:30 is also good. Tuesday or Wednesday evenings also work well.

In-person only. No remote workshops or attendee call-ins.

Number of attendees. For workshops, the optimal number of attendees is 15, though anywhere from 10 to 16 works well, too.

Customized support. Coaching for increased performance can be conducted if desired. Confidential one-on-one support is available in a semi-private space after the workshop is over each night for any attendee who is interested.

Attendance. Each attendee must commit to coming to each session and arriving on time. The workshop series builds each week, and attendees will progress together. Occasional attendance is not an option, and new attendees may not join late once the series has started.

Advance scouting. Ansel will conduct an advance on-site visit with a representative of your organization.

Assistant. Your organization will designate an assistant for Ansel, typically one of the attendees.

Travel. Ansel drives from Redlands, California. He flies from Ontario, California, USA (ONT airport).

Requirements

Private room with temperature control.

Couches or chairs that can be arranged for the session setup.

White board. Attached to a wall is fine, but even better if it is mobile and reversible.

TV viewing screen connected to the internet. We will watch a few short videos from the internet during two of the sessions.

No cell phone use. Phones must be on airplane mode or turned off. We will all enjoy being present with each other.

No provided food. Attendees may bring their own snacks if they wish, but no food will be provided. This is in order to eliminate distractions. We will enjoy being present and working together. If you think your church will need to provide food to motivate people to show up for this workshop series, I guarantee that won't be a problem.
